Sunday’s Southeastern Pa. roundup: Roman Catholic downs St. Joseph’s Prep behind balanced attack

St. Joseph’s recruit Hakim Hart finished with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Roman Catholic basketball team defeated St. Joseph’s Prep, 78-42. Jalen Duren, Lynn Greer III, and Seth Lundy each added 13 points for the Cahillites.

Jamil Manigo recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds as Bishop McDevitt rolled past Devon Prep, 56-20. Robert Smith added 14 points for the Lancers, who outscored the Tide 24-2 in the fourth quarter to break the game open.

Connecticut recruit Jalen Gaffney and Noah Collier each had 12 points as Westtown fell to Blair Academy, 50-44, in the Lehigh Valley Showcase.

Girls' Basketball

Belle Mastropietro led all scorers with 14 points as Springfield Delco topped West Chester Henderson, 46-37. Jordan D’Ambrosio chipped in 11 points for the Cougars.

Becca Magrone scored 11 points in West Chester Rustin’s 46-30 victory over Harriton. Julie DiCampli and Symone Costin added nine and eight points, respectively, for the Golden Knights.

Kyliah Singletary had 15 points and 12 rebounds in West Catholic’s 63-58 triumph over Central Bucks West. Daziy Wilson and Destiney McPaul added 14 and 12 points, respectively, for the Burrs.
