Kyle Jones rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns to help the Penn Charter football team earn the program’s 700th all-time win in its 41-20 victory over Lansdale Catholic on Saturday. The Quakers’ all-time record is 700-370-52.

Matt Marshall, a three-star cornerback in the 2021 class with offers from Baylor, Boston College, N.C. State, Indiana and Buffalo did damage on offense for the Quakers. The junior rushed for 223-yards on 23 carries and one touchdown.

Andrew McDonald had two punt return touchdowns for more than 50 yards as Pope John Paul II downed New Hope-Solebury, 55-6. Kamal Gray recorded two passing touchdowns and one rushing. Justin Kormos and Derek Skarbek each hauled in receiving touchdowns. Steele Depetrillo and Chris Bruder added scores on the ground. Evan Davidson caught a 46-yard touchdown pass for New Hope-Solebury’s only score.

Keed Kpoto’s 18-yard rushing touchdown late in fourth quarter led Cardinal O’Hara past Hudson Catholic, 17-13. Cole Sprague tossed a touchdown pass to Mike Levy.

Despite Russell Minor-Shaw’s three touchdowns — two rushing and one passing — Archbishop Carroll lost to Seton Hall Prep, 42-20. Jahlil Warren hauled in a receiving touchdown to make the game 28-20 in the third quarter.

Boys’ Soccer

Tyler Brooks recorded a hat trick to lead Oxford past Bonner-Prendergast, 8-0. Eddy Chavez, Juan Romero, Zoller Gray, Ozzy Perez and Nick Landgrebe added goals. Jackson Wisneski had three assists and Josue Gonazalez tallied one.
