Wednesday’s Southeastern Pa. roundup: St. Basil softballs walks-off against Little Flower

Down to her last strike, Kendall Szor ripped a walk-off single that brought home two runs Wednesday to lift the St. Basil softball team over Little Flower, 8-7. Maria Storck added two hits for the Panthers.

Colebe Oliver launched a grand slam, a double, and five RBIs in Springside Chestnut Hill’s 9-2 victory over Archbishop Carroll. Erin Sennessy added a double and two RBIs for the Blue Devils.

Taylor Posner tripled and Carly Grandizio homered in support of Natalie Beebe as Downingtown West topped Avon Grove, 5-3.

Four of Ellie Benedict’s five hits were home runs as she had finished with 10 RBIs in Constitution’s 28-6 decision over Parkway West.

Morgan Chapman helped herself on the mound with two triples in Ridley’s 11-1 win over Springfield Delco. Mary DelFera went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple for the Green Raiders.

Kara Fusco lashed a double, a triple, and collected an RBI to lead Perkiomen Valley over Boyertown, 6-3. Caitlin Keenan homered for Boyertown.

Abby Brown smacked a pair of doubles as Penn Charter rolled past Friends’ Central, 12-5. Maddie Brooks and Avery Schnupp added triples for the Quakers. Schnupp also pitched herself to a win.

Ashley Berry went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs to lead Northeast over GAMP, 11-0.

Jack Heineman doubled, tripled, and knocked in a run as La Salle held off Cardinal O’Hara, 11-8. Jack Whitlinger added two hits and four RBIs for the Explorers. Gavin Moretski got the win in five innings of one-run ball.

Stephen DiBattista allowed two earned runs in six innings with 10 strikeouts to carry Bonner-Prendergast past Conwell-Egan, 9-2. Matt Shepherd and John DiMucci each had two hits and an RBI for the Friars.
