Luke Taylor pitched a six-hitter with eight strikeouts and went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Souderton over Central Bucks South, 2-0. With the win, the Indians clinched Suburban One Continental Conference. Conlan Wall had an RBI and Bill Norbeck went 2-for-2 with a run scored for the victors.

Gavin Moretski scattered three hits in 6 2/3 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts Wednesday as the La Salle baseball team blanked Father Judge, 1-0. Owen Lawn provided the RBI for the Explorers, scoring Daniel Choate in the fifth inning.

Nick Wiesendanger struck out 10 without allowing an earned run on three hits as Garnet Valley edged Conestoga, 3-2. Steve Theisen went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Andy Lainoff produced an RBI for the Jaguars.

Casey Murphy tossed a five-hit shutout with six strikeouts in Lower Merion’s 1-0 triumph over Ridley. Therein Moore recorded a base hit, two walks, and the lone RBI for the Aces.

Conor Smith went 4-for-4 with a two doubles and three RBIs as Methacton topped Norristown, 10-3. Chris Douglas doubled and had four RBIs while Logan Rambo collected three hits, including a double, and two RBIs for the Warriors.

Jack Demmy tossed 4 1/3 innings in relief to pick up his first varsity win as Radnor held off Harriton, 7-6. George Hoysgaard lashed a bases-clearing double in the visiting eighth to give the Raiders a three-run lead.

Tyson Maddox was a home run away from the cycle, had four RBIs, and got the win on the mound as Germantown Friends scored six runs in the visiting eighth to pull away from George School, 11-5.

Cameron Enz and Ezion Perez each hit a double, and Sean McWilliams laced a triple in Phila. Academy Charter’s 8-7 victory over Boys’ Latin.

Softball

Makenzie Murrin went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs as Marple Newtown defeated Penncrest, 8-6. Brianna Kelly homered for the Tigers.

Riley Long and Emily Murphy each hit a double in support of Lindsey Davies as St. Hubert rolled past Archbishop Wood, 14-0. The Bambies scored eight runs in the visiting seventh to break the game open.

Abigail Penjuke ripped two doubles for Methacton in a 15-0 win over Norristown. Paige Deal out struck out 12 in five innings for the Warriors.

London Robinson got the win on the mound and laced a triple as Overbrook beat Dobbins, 21-8.

Corinne Mundy pitched a one-hitter, doubled, and tripled as Rush cruised past GAMP, 23-0. Mundy recorded her 100th strikeout on the season. Ann-Marie Schippert, Morgan Hoffman, and Alyssa Curran each added a double for the victors.

Kayla Rockey blasted a home run as Phila. Academy Charter downed Lincoln, 17-2. Gina Olivieri earned the win.

J’ana Bishop went 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBIs as Franklin Towne Charter knocked off Girls High, 16-0. Amanda Stapf went 5-for-5 with a double and a walk for the Coyotes.

Kellee Blockus pitched Saul to victory and went 4-for-4 at the plate in a 14-4 decision over String Theory. Kate Smith also went 4-for-4 while Irene Ford and Alexis Banicki each doubled for the Razorbacks.

Ellie Benedict pitched a four-inning no-hitter and homered as Constitution routed Friere Charter, 15-0. Mirian Serrano went 3-for-3 with three RBIs for the Generals.

Jenna Casasanto went 2-for-4 with two RBIs as Springfield Delco scored all five runs in the fourth innings in a 5-3 triumph over Strath Haven.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Nina Martino, Bayla Plower, and Marissa Tommarello each scored two goals to lead Methacton past Norristown, 16-3.
