Chicken pox outbreak at prison

A CHICKEN POX outbreak at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia is affecting court cases and inmate visits.

A recorded message at the detention facility says "several cases" of the disease have been reported there recently.

Inmate visits at the prison at 7th and Arch streets have been suspended to prevent future cases. The message said inmates have been made aware of the outbreak. Court appearances are also affected, as inmates are being prevented from leaving the facility. One such case was the detention hearing originally scheduled yesterday for Robert Lee Moore, a Secret Service officer accused of trying to solicit sex from an undercover agent posing as a teenage girl. The hearing has been canceled until further notice.
