Discounts for Veterans

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP - Free cards that allow discount shopping for U.S. military veterans will be available Wednesday in Bristol Township.

Staff from the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds will offer the cards at the Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans Post between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The post is located at 800 Coates Avenue.

Veterans must bring their original DD-214 form. For more information, call 215-348-6209.

More than 1,000 Bucks County businesses participate, offering discounts of up to 20 percent. They include department stores, mechanics and restaurants. A full list is at www.buckscounty.org.
