Criminal justice scholarships offered

An association is accepting applications for two $750 scholarships. The scholarships, given by the Chiefs of County Detectives/Investigators Association of New Jersey, will be offered to individuals pursuing criminal justice careers at a university or college.

The scholarships, given by the Chiefs of County Detectives/Investigators Association of New Jersey, will be offered to individuals pursuing criminal justice careers at a university or college. Students applying to such schools can also try for the scholarship.

One scholarship will go to a student from New Jersey's northern counties (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren) and one to a resident of the southern counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, Mercer, Monmouth and Salem).

Applications must be sent by June 13 to cdouglas@cmcpros.net, or by mail to Chief Kenneth W. Super, Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, 4 Moore Rd., DN-110, Cape May Court House, N.J. 08210.
