CAMDEN Camden County first responders are invited to take part in a free program Saturday on preparing wills and estate-planning documents.
The "Wills for Heroes" service will be available to police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and other first responders, and their spouses or civil union partners. Participants will leave with completed documents, according to the event's organizers — the Rutgers Law Estates and Trust Society, the Camden County Bar Association Probate and Trust Committee, and the law firm of Ballard Spahr.
The program will be held at Rutgers Law School in Camden, Clark Commons, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Appointments are required and can be made at www.camdencountybar.org. Click on "First Responder" and follow the instructions. Once an appointment is made, the first responder must download a questionnaire from the website, complete it, and bring it to the appointment.
Those with further questions can call Brenda Lee Eutsler at 856-428-2266 or e-mail Dan Feldman at dfeld9189@gmail.com.
