GLOUCESTER TWP. - The Camden County Improvement Authority and Conifer Real Estate Development & Management Co. will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday for an energy-efficient affordable housing development in Gloucester Township. Revere Run, an 80-unit community, includes one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and townhouses.

"This project is situated within a redevelopment zone," said county Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. "It not only transformed the area, but did so with minimal impact on the surrounding environment and open space thanks to the green practices utilized in its construction."

Among the project's green features are high efficiency heating and cooling systems, Energy Star-rated appliances and light fixtures, and water-saving plumbing fixtures.

The ribbon-cutting will be at 1 p.m. at 701 Harbor Lane.
