MOUNT LAUREL Do you have piles of clutter and no idea where to begin?

Best-selling author and organizing specialist Jamie Novak has some helpful tips on how to jump-start long-overdue spring cleaning projects.

She will present a "Five Minute Organizing Ideas for a Fresh Start" workshop at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Mount Laurel Library.

The event is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required.

Novak will share organizing tips and tricks that can be done in five-minute increments to purge piles of paperwork, clean the closets, and organize your life.

She is best known for her once-a-week de-cluttering calendar and scores of books on organizing. Her timer technique approach is famous.

Event sponsors say the workshop is designed for anyone who has felt overwhelmed by clutter and unfinished projects, and needs time to sort the accumulated piles.
