TRENTON - New Jersey's Senate president is taking to Twitter to field questions from the public.
Stephen Sweeney (D., Gloucester) announced Tuesday that he would host "Twitter Thursdays," pledging to answer a minimum of five questions from followers of his Twitter account, @NJSenatePres.
Sweeney said he would use the question-and-answer sessions - which start this week - to stay in touch with constituents.
"'Twitter Thursdays' will be a unique and exciting way for people to hear directly from me on anything from property taxes and shared services to the Packers' chances of making the playoffs," he said in a statement.
Sweeney has been floated as a potential candidate to succeed Gov. Christie.
