A 34-year-old man was shot and critically wounded during a daylight robbery Tuesday in West Mount Airy, police said.

Police were looking for two men who took $800 in cash, a Rolex watch and Versace belt from the victim before fleeing in a gray or silver Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows.

The victim, whose name was not released, was shot once in the buttock about 8:45 a.m. on the 200 block of West Johnson Street, police said. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was placed in critical condition.
