Body of man found tied and bound inside van at storage facility

The bound body of a man was found in a van parked at a storage facility in Southwest Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The man, who was not identified and who was believed to be 67 years old, had suffered facial injuries, police said. He was found by the manager of Locker Room Self-Storage Inc. on South 62d Street, police said.

The manager could not be reached for comment Sunday afternoon.
