Man charged in fatal Camden shooting

A 30-year-old man was charged Wednesday with murder for the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia man in Camden, authorities said.
Jamil Beatty, of Camden, was arrested at his home and was being held at the Camden County jail pending a court appearance.
On Nov. 29, police found William McWhorter, 46, lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound in the 700 block of Tulip Street in Camden. McWhorter was taken to Cooper University Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
