A Curtis Alum Cultivates Young Talent

Recent Curtis graduate Stanford Thompson is nurturing talent at home. Instead of pursuing a performing career, the 24-year-old trumpeter has started a Southwest Philadelphia after-school music program modeled on Venezuela's hugely successful La Sistema.
