Man killed in East Mount Airy shooting
Police responded to a reported shooting at 3:55 p.m. in the 100 block of Meehan Avenue.
A 31-year-old man was fatally shot Monday afternoon in the city’s East Mount Airy section, police said.
About 3:55 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Meehan Avenue and found the victim shot once in the head and twice in the chest. Police transported him to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:12.
Police reported no arrests or motive.
