Philly police: Man, 33, dies after getting shot in the face multiple times while sitting in his car

A 33-year-old man died Friday after he was shot several times in the face and neck while sitting in his car in West Kensington, Philadelphia police said.

Police took the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he died at 5:22 p.m., less than 10 minutes after the shooting on the 2600 block of Palethorp Street. His name was not released.

Authorities said they had not made an arrest or found a weapon.
