Hand-Washing War Against Infections

Nearly 100,000 patients die every year in the U.S. from infections they get in hospitals. Catherine "Pat" Zakrzewski's death at Abington Memorial Hospital spurred a war there on infections. To save lives, hospital staffers are on a hand-washing crusade.
