Inside the Curtis Institute of Music, Part One

For nearly nine decades, Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music has been turning out virtuoso soloists, vocalists and orchestral players. Alone in practice rooms, with master musicians in teaching studios, and with colleagues in ensembles, Curtis musicians spend between four and ten hours a day honing their craft.
