Man killed in South Philly shooting

Victim was shot on the 1200 block of South Bucknell Street.

A 27-year-old man was fatally wounded in shooting Friday evening in South Philadelphia, police said.

The victim was shot once in the neck just before 6:40 p.m. on the 1200 block of South Bucknell Street. He was transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:16 p.m.

Police reported no arrests.
