Man fatally struck by River Line train in Burlco

Service has resumed on the light-rail service.

A man was fatally struck by a River Line train Monday afternoon in Burlington County, NJ Transit reported.

A southbound train hit the man about 2:15 p.m. in between stops near Florence Township, the agency said.

None of the nearly 30 passengers and operator were hurt. The light-rail service was suspended until around 4:30.

The incident was being investigated by NJ Transit police.
