A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Monday night in North Philadelphia, police said.

Just after 8:40 p.m. outside in the 2400 block of North 19th Street, the teen was struck in the right foot by a bullet. He was taken by police to Temple University Hospital and was reported in stable condition.

Police earlier had said a 14-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to her nose, but they later reported that the injury was caused by glass. She also was taken by police to Temple and was listed in stable condition.
