Man killed in North Philly shooting

A 25-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in North Philadelphia, police said.

Shortly before 3 p.m., the man, who was not identified, was outside on the 2600 block of North 23rd Street when he was shot repeatedly. He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:14.

Police reported no arrests and no other details were released.
