Man, 43, killed in North Philly shooting

A 43-year-old man was fatally wounded in a street shooting Monday night in North Philadelphia, police said.

Just after 9:10 p.m., the man was outside in the 2500 block of North Sydenham Street when he was shot twice in the chest. Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:31.

The victim’s name was not released, and police reported no arrests or other details.
