Chester man gets 30 years in prison for drug trafficking
Paris Church, 57, had three convictions for drug dealing.

A 57-year-old Chester man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for drug trafficking, U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain said Thursday.
Paris Church and others conspired to sell drugs in Chester from August 2012 until September 2014, McSwain said. Church had three convictions for distribution of drugs, including cocaine and heroin.
McSwain said Church conspired to obtain 20 kilograms of cocaine from a Mexican supplier and he also conspired to get drugs from a California supplier.
“Paris Church is a menace to the neighborhoods of Chester who needed to be convicted on federal charges three times to get the message: dealing illegal drugs and decimating neighborhoods will get you locked for a long time,” McSwain said in a statement.
