A group of Native Americans have come every Memorial Day weekend since 1973 to the cemetery of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School at the Carlisle Barracks to honor the students who died while attending school there and to decorate their graves.

Karen Collins, (left) an elder from the American Indian Society, leads the group in prayer on May 23, 2020. They usually number about 50, but because of the corona virus had to keep the tradition alive with a smaller group.
