Chester County roadwork to watch out for this week
Drivers, take note of these possible delays and detours that could cause traffic across several municipalities.

There will be roadwork in several municipalities this week, including ongoing work on Route 30, plus the start of a $1.9 million retaining wall project.
See all the possible delays and detours you need to know, starting June 17:
Coatesville and Caln, Sadsbury, Valley, and West Caln Townships: Work continues on Route 30 this week with a westbound lane closure between Airport Road and Kings Highway on weekdays from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
East Brandywine Township: Starting Monday, Bondsville Road between Fisherville and Bailey Roads will be closed for several months while crews work on a $1.9 million retaining wall project. The road is expected to reopen in late November.
East Nantmeal Township: Starting Monday, oil and chip work will take place on Nantmeal Road between Templin and Iron Bridge Roads, as well as on part of Prizer Road. Work is expected to continue through June 29.
East Whiteland Township: Expect paving and milling on Church, Markel, and Moores Roads, Kelmar Avenue, and Rickmar Lane.
New Garden Township: Hillendale Road between Sharp Road and Sunrise Drive will be closed today and tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for pipe work.
North Coventry Township: Expect work on Route 422 westbound between Keim and Hanover Streets from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and eastbound from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through tomorrow. There will also be work on Route 422 westbound between the Sanatoga and Hanover Street interchanges today and tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
West Pikeland Township: Upper Pine Creek Road is expected to reopen by the end of Friday, weather permitting, after being closed for turnpike bridge construction.
West Vincent Township: Birchrun Road and a portion of Hollow Road will be closed between Horseshoe Trail and Flowing Springs Roads Monday to Wednesday from 7 a.m to 4 p.m.
