A 31-year-old man was fatally wounded Wednesday night in a street shooting in the Fairhill section of the city.

Philadelphia police said the man was outside when he was shot multiple times in the face and legs about 7:15 p.m. while on the 2900 block of North Howard Street. Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:33.

His name was withheld, and police had no other details, including a motive, to release.
