Woman, 47, fatally shot in Logan

The body of a 47-year-old woman who had been shot to death was found Monday afternoon inside an apartment in the city’s Logan section, police said.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., the woman was found inside a second-floor unit on the 4900 block of North Warnock Street with several gunshot wounds throughout her body. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. Her name was not released.

Police said a suspect was identified and arrested. No further details were available.
