Man killed in East Germantown shooting

A 30-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Wednesday evening in the city’s East Germantown section, police said.

Police said the man was driving in the 4900 block of Wakefield Street just before 6:45 p.m. when he was shot twice in the face. Medics responding to the scene pronounced the man dead at 6:58 p.m.

Police reported no arrests or other details.
