Man fatally shot in Kensington

The shooting happened in the area of F and Cornwall Streets.

A 43-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Thursday evening in the city’s Kensington section, police said.

Just after 6:15 p.m. in the area of F and Cornwall Streets, the victim was shot repeatedly in the chest, back, and a hip. Police took him to Temple University Hospital and he was pronounced dead at 7:06.

Police reported no arrests.
