Man fatally shot in North Philadelphia

A 40-year-old man was fatally shot late Wednesday afternoon in the city’s Tioga section, police said.

The man was shot repeatedly in his head and body shortly after 5 p.m. in the 3700 block of North Gratz Street. He was taken by police to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 5:17. Police reported no arrests.
