Teen shot in Mayfair

The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Cotmman Avenue.

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot Monday night in the city’s Mayfair section, police said.

The teen was shot in the right leg and grazed in abdomen just after 8:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Cottman Avenue. He was taken by police to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.

Police reported they had recovered a gun at the scene but the unknown assailant was still at large.
