Two people were killed and one person was in critical condition after three shootings in the city Sunday night, police said.

The first shooting happened in Olney just after 5:15 p.m. on the 5300 block of North Fifth Street, police said. A woman, who police said was between 18 and 25 years old, was shot once in the chest and back. Police took her to Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, where she was pronounced dead at 5:37.

Police recovered three guns and arrested two male suspects, who have not been identified as charges are pending.

Later, in neighboring Logan, an 18-year-old male was shot once in the chest on the 1800 block of Sulis Street at 7:08 p.m. Police said the shooting appeared to have occurred outside a party, but no witnesses have come forward, said Cpl. Jasmine Reilly, a Police Department spokesperson. Medics took the teenager to Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, where he was pronounced dead at 7:28.

Police reported no arrests or other details in that case.

Also, a man was shot Sunday during an attempted carjacking at 5:45 p.m. on the 4000 block of L Street, police said. A man, who was about 20 years old, was allegedly attempting to steal a car when the man inside that car fired two shots at him, one striking in the head, Reilly said. Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

Police recovered the weapon used and determined the man had a permit to carry a gun, Reilly said.

Authorities also reported a stabbing Sunday night at 7:49 p.m. at a rooming house on the 2400 block of South Millick Street in Southwest Philadelphia, Reilly said. A 50-year-old man was stabbed once in his upper left thigh and medics transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said. Police reported no arrests or other details in that case.

All of these incidents are under investigation, police said.
