The boots of the National Guard are in Philadelphia

The National Guard arrived at the City Hall area of Philadelphia on Oct. 30, 2020. Their presence was brought about by the unrest sparked by the fatal shooting of Walter Wallace, Jr. by police earlier in the week. A curfew went into effect in recent days at 9 PM on Center City streets, 8th to 20th Streets and Vine to Walnut Streets were closed to most traffic.
