A second firefighter was taken to hospital after experiencing shortness of breath battling the blaze with temperatures in the 20s.

Four people, including a firefighter, were hurt in a blaze Wednesday in a rowhouse in North Philadelphia’s Franklinville section, officials said.
There was no word on their conditions, but the injuries did not immediately appear to be life-threatening.
The blaze in the house on the 3500 block of Warnock Street was reported about 6:55 a.m. and arriving Fire Department units reported finding heavy fire throughout the two-story structure.
Three people, including one person who jumped from the second floor, were hurt and taken to hospital, the Fire Department said.
A firefighter suffered unspecified injuries in the collapse of the porch roof and was taken to a hospital, the department said. A second firefighter was taken to a hospital after experiencing shortness of breath battling the blaze in the 20-degree weather.
The fire was declared under control at 7:36 a.m. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
