Man shot dead in SUV in South Philadelphia
The victim was shot in the neck and died at Jefferson University Hospital.
A man was fatally shot in the neck Saturday afternoon inside a black Ford Explorer on a South Philadelphia street, police said.
The shooting occurred about 4:30 p.m. on the 2200 block of Croskey Street, police said. The victim, described as being in his mid-20s, was taken to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:57.
Police did not immediately provide any information about possible suspects and circumstances surrounding the shooting.
