Video: Defense lawyers speak after prosecutors drop C.J. Rice's case

South Philadelphia man, C.J. Rice, was convicted of four counts of attempted murder in 2013. The case garnered national attention when CNN anchor Jake Tapper, a Philadelphia native, published an article in The Atlantic calling Rice’s initial defense “dangerously incompetent.” At a hearing on Monday, prosecutors told a judge they will not seek a new trial against Rice. An attorney for C.J. Rice and members of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project and the Exoneration Project react to the hearing.
