A 21-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Wednesday evening in West Philadelphia, police said.

About 6:20 p.m., the man was outside in the 1200 block of North 60th Street when he was struck twice in the back, twice in the right hip, and once in the right shoulder. Police took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:51.

His name was not released, and police reported no arrests. No other details were immediately available.
