Philadelphia radio personality and executive E. Steven Collins, 58, has died. His death Sunday night was confirmed by his station, 103.3 FM WRNB, which preempted its regular Monday morning programming in a tribute to Mr. Collins.

Mr. Collins was the director of urban marketing and external relations and hosted a weekly show, Philly Speaks, which featured local and national figures.
Fox29 reported he died of a heart attack.
Rep. Chaka Fattah, a friend of Mr. Collins, issued a statement calling him "a great partner and advocate" for Philadelphians.
"A friend to all and professionally a radio executive, 'E,' as he was called, was a champion for programs and people that sought to bring positive change to our neighborhoods: through Goods for Guns, Father's Day rally and countless Sunday shows that connected communnity and policy makers directly like family," the congressman said.
