This week, give back to your local community, plus there are plenty of outdoor festivities that take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather.


Moonlight Movies

(Movies / Community) Grab the popcorn and a blanket, and get ready for movie night. The Mount Airy CDC is hosting its final moonlight movie of the season with a free screening of the 2017 film Coco. The Sixties Show

(Music) Is this a concert or a time machine? Prepare to be taken back to the ‘60s through this multigenerational lineup of music. The band includes musicians who have performed with acts like Bob Dylan and The Who. In addition to amazing music, the performance will feature special effects to get you in the swing of things. Project Home Community Service Day

Philly Aids Thrift Fall Festival and Block Party

Mural Arts Fest

(Art / Community) What would Philly be without its art community? To kick off Mural Arts Month, Mural Arts is hosting a day filled with creativity, dancing, music, and, of course, live art. There will be food trucks, face painting, and free family photos all day long. Plus, FLYGIRRL will be on site creating a community mural. South Street Festival

Delco Arts Week

Revolutionary Germantown Festival

(History/Community) This 40-year tradition commemorates Germantown’s Revolutionary history. Explore the historic sites and learn about the lives of Philadelphians living in Germantown in 1777. Queertoberfest
