PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's junior midfielder Mo Hawkins (Philadelphia, Pa./Cardinal Dougherty) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Women's Divisions I All-Mid-Atlantic Second Team, organization officials announced this week. Hawkins, who was chosen 2012 Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and an A-10 All-Conference First Team selection, is the first Hawk to garner multiple All-Region honors.

Leading the Hawks offense for the third consecutive year, Hawkins paced SJU with a team-best 19 points and eight goals and added three assists. Currently third in SJU history in points (61) and goals (25), the 2011 NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic First Team honoree became just the second player in conference history to earn consecutive A-10 Midfielder of the Year honors and is the only SJU player to ever garner All-Conference honors three times.

As a team, Saint Joseph's capped the season with a 9-7-4 record and made its first appearance in the Atlantic 10 Championship since 2005.
