Bensalem police ask for help to ID car thieves
A yoing man and woman were caught on surveillance system in a Wawa, where they allegedly used stolen credit cards, police said.
Bensalem Township police are asking for help identifying a young man and woman suspected of stealing a vehicle, breaking into several other cars, and using stolen credits.
Several vehicles were broken into and a 2009 Nissan Altima was stolen early Sunday in the 200 block of Tremain Road, police said Friday.
According to the police statement:
The stolen credit cards were used at a Wawa at Rhawn Street and Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia. The store's surveillance system recorded them: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmnLzcxQ8UY&feature=plcp.
The couple was driving the Altima at the time. The car has since been recovered after being involved in a police chase in Philadelphia.
