Basketball: Hagan resigns as Gloucester coach

By Phil Anastasia

Kevin Hagan has resigned after five seasons as Gloucester High School's boys basketball coach.

Hagan, 33, said Wednesday morning that he plans to pursue his master's degree.

He hopes to continue coaching, perhaps as an assistant with another program on a limited basis. He also hopes to become a head coach again in the future.

"There's nothing like the highs you get from coaching," Hagan said. "This is a tough decision but I feel like it's the right decision."
