Basketball: Preseason 1st, 2d, 3d, 4th and 5th team All South Jersey

Here's a look at the preseason All-South Jersey teams, from first team to fifth team, plus honorable mention:

FIRST TEAM

G Tavaris Headen Camden 5-9 Senior: He's a clever lefty who averaged 18.5 points last season. First team selection last season. Key player for new coach John Valore.

G Isaiah Graves Atlantic City 6-1 Senior.: He's a fearless player who will take big shots in big games. Second teammer last season. Must step up and assume leadership role this season.

F Tim Delaney Pitman 6-9 Junior: He's a Villanova recruit with strength and skills. Second team last season. Might be SJ's best player.

F Matt Klinewski Eastern 6-8 Senior (pictured): He's a Lafayette recruit who bangs boards at both ends and gets to foul line. Second team last season. Relentless player who goes hard for 32 minutes.

F Jay Howard Paul VI 6-3 Senior: He's a great finisher in transition who averaged 18.4 last season. First team last season. Considering Delaware, Rider and Quinipiac, among others, but could end up at Navy.

SECOND TEAM

G Flo DaSilva Bishop Eustace 6-0 Senior: He's a University of the Sciences recruit who excels at the defensive end. Good finisher who has worked to improve outside shot.

G Eric Stafford Pitman 6-4 Senior: He's a Lafayette recruit with a smart, versatile game. Fills up the boxscore.

F Junior Saintel Holy Spirit 6-6 Senior: He's tough to stop in the open court. Needs to get gritty baskets for the Spartans in February and March.

F Ed McWade Wildwood Cath. 6-3 Senior: He's a crafty left-hander who can score in traffic. Gets to the foul line.

F Matt Risse Paul VI 6-5 Senior: He's a James Madison recruit with range from deep. Three-year starter and four-year varsity player.

THIRD TEAM

G Jake Silpe Cherry Hill East 6-1 Junior: He's a slick playmaker who can score. He averaged 12 points and five assists as a sophomore.

G Nick DePersia Haddonfield 6-0 Junior: He plays with high energy at both ends of the floor. Versatile player.

C Rashaan Holloway Schalick 6-9 Senior: He's a Massachusetts recruit who controls the paint. Has worked hard to improve footwork and conditioning.

F Theo Holloway Paulsboro 6-3 Junior: He's on the brink of a break-out season. Runs floor and tough in traffic.

F Dennis White Atlantic City 6-6 Senior: He's a lefty with a mid-range game and deft passing touch. Veteran of two straight Group 4 state title teams.

FOURTH TEAM

G Justin Hansen, West Deptford, 5-11, Senior: He's a four-year starter with a knack for scoring. Good mid-range game.

G Rob DePersia, Haddonfield, 5-10, Junior: He teams with his twin Nick to form one of South Jersey's best backcourts. Great defender and distributor.

F Nick Davidson, Rancocas Valley, 6-6 Senior: He's a Bloomfield (N.J.) recruit with a strong inside game.

F Paul Bellamy, Cherokee, 6-3 Junior: He's an athletic wing on the verge of a big season. Watch the Chiefs this season.

F Can Oztamur, Cherry Hill West, 6-5, Junior: He's a rangy player who missed most of last season with a knee injury. Went for 33 in scrimmage against Schalick. Won't be a secret for long.

FIFTH TEAM

G Darnell Foreman, Pitman, 6-1, Senior: He's another lefty who makes plays at both ends.

G Rob Brosh, Camden Catholic, 5-10, Senior: He's a playmaker who can bury three-pointers.

F Jamal Holloway, Camden, 6-3 Sophomore: He's a great rebounder in traffic who can finish. Has improved outside shot.

F Ben Mitchell, St. Joseph, 6-2 Junior: He averaged 15.8 points and 8.6 rebounds last season. Slasher with a knack for drawing contact.

F Brandon Cazan, Bishop Eustace, 6-6, Junior: He's a strong interior player. Tough to move off the block.

Honorable mention: Saleem Little, 6-4 junior, Paulsboro; Awwal Reid, 6-6 senior, Willingboro; Shaun Brooks, 6-4 senior, Pemberton; Jordan Robertson, 6-2 senior, Wildwood Catholic; John Middleton, 6-2 junior, Holy Spirit; Ivan Robinson, 6-0 senior, Paul VI; Kwame Morton, 6-5 junior, Delsea; Marvin Jones, 6-6 senior, Sterling; Brad Hawkins, 6-1 sophomore, Camden; Brendan Crawford, 6-6 junior, Camden Catholic; Vince Anfield, 6-0 senior, Rancocas Valley; Fran Kinsey, 6-0 junior, Gloucester Catholic; Jelani Glaze, 6-3 senior, Burlington City.
