Football: Strom new coach at Camden Catholic

By Phil Anastasia

Nick Strom, a 2006 Palmyra graduate, has been named the new football coach at Camden Catholic, The Inquirer has learned.

Strom replaces Dennis Scuderi, who resigned after last season. The Irish were 4-6 in 2013.

Strom was an assistant coach working with Camden Catholic under Scuderi in summer workouts. He left the program before the season and helped out as an assistant coach at Burlington Township.

He also has been an assistant at Palmyra. He played quarterback for Palmyra.

Strom becomes Camden Catholic's third coach in three years and fourth since 2010. He follows Scuderi (2013), Gil Brooks (2011-12) and Rick Brown (2005-2010).
