Football: Hetrick tabbed as new boss at C.B. South

Tom Hetrick has been tabbed as the head football coach at Central Bucks South. He previously was an assistant coach, working with the offensive linemen and outside linebackers, for the Titans.

Hetrick, a social studies teacher in the Central Bucks School District since 1995, was an assisatnt with the Titans for the last six seasons. Before that, he was an assistant at Central Bucks East (2000 to 2007).

Hetrick served as the head coach at Holicong Middle School for three years. He replaces Dave Rackovan, who stepped down to coach at The Hill School in Pottstown.

"He is a great teacher, did an unbelievable job with our offensive line, and the kids really respect him," said Rackovan, will will continue as Central Bucks South's athletic director through the end of the school year.
