Here's the new Top 20 in South Jersey baseball for Sunday, April 27 (previous ranking in parentheses)
1. Bishop Eustace (1) 13-1
The Crusaders have 21 home runs, led by senior Mike Krusinski (6) and juniors Nick Browne (5) and Chris Jones (4).
2. Pennsville (3) 12-0
The Eagles won the Hedelt Tournament at Oakcrest this weekend. Senior Eric Lankeneau is starting to swing a hot bat, with three home runs last week.
3. Gloucester Catholic (4) 9-4
Juniors Fran Kinsey and Tre Todd rapped two-run doubles in Sunday's 11-1 win over St. Augustine.
4. St. Augustine (2) 8-3
Senior Sean Carew was 2-for-3 and hit the ball hard three times in the loss to GC on Sunday.
5. Northern Burlington (7) 10-2
In three games last week, junior Ryan Shinn pitched a no-hitter with 15 Ks and also hit two doubles and a home run.
6. Washington Two. (5) 11-3
Senior Mark Scarpa hit a home run in the sixth inning to back strong pitching by freshman Rich Racobaldo in a 1-0 win over Atlantic City on Sunday at Millville.
7. Moorestown (6) 9-3
Senior Justin Varga has two HRs and four doubles for the Quakers.
8. Cherry Hill East (10) 10-6
Senior Nick Ciocco is among SJ's leaders with five doubles and two triples.
9. Haddonfield (11) 9-3
The Bulldogs' three losses were by a total of four runs.
10. Absegami (9) 8-5
Senior lefty Brandon Bowen struck out seven in a 6-0 win over Holy Spirit on Saturday.
11. Audubon (11) 9-4
Senior Eric Schorr leads SJ with three triples.
12. Buena (12) 9-4
Junior Denny Brady, an East Carolina recruit, has four pitching wins, five doubles and two homers.
13. Cinnaminson (14) 9-4
Senior Christian Deluca has six doubles and two homers.
14. Holy Cross (16) 8-3
Senior Colin Strigham has four homers and three pitching wins.
15. Eastern (8) 9-6
Junior Ryan Keen is among SJ's leaders with seven doubles.
16. Williamstown (NR) 6-5
The Braves have wins over NBC, Delsea, Clearview, Absegami and Washington Twp.
17. Cedar Creek (18) 9-3
Alex Boney and Ryan Leyva each have three pitching wins for the Pirates.
18. Rancocas Valley (NR) 6-4
Tim Zeng has five doubles and two triples for the Red Devils.
19. Clearview (NR) 8-2
The Pioneers' two losses were by scores of 3-2 to Kingsway and 6-5 to Williamstown.
20. Cherry Hill West (17) 7-4
Joe Santaguida has two triples for the Lions.
