Saint Joseph's Gingrich Named to Women's Soccer's All-Region Second Team
PHILADELPHIA - Leading the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team in goals and points, sophomore midfielder Emily Gingrich was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team, organization officials announced on Wednesday.

An A-10 All-Conference First Team selection this year, Gingrich matched the single-season record for goals this year with 14, and set the single-season mark for shots (93) and finished second in points (31). Helping the Hawks to a bid in the Atlantic 10 Championship, Gingrich guided SJU to an 11-9-0 record, matching the single-season ecord for wins.
Gingrich, who was named 2013 A-10 Rookie of the Year, is the seventh Hawk to garner All-Region honors. With Gingrich's honor, Saint Joseph's has had a student-athlete earn All-Region distinction for four straight years.
