First Team

Levan "Shawn" Alston, Haverford School, senior. The 6-foot-3, 165-pound wing guard averaged 16.5 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.1 rebounds while leading the Fords to a 16-8 overall record and 7-3 mark in the Inter-Ac League. A four-star recruit according to Rivals.com, Alston will continue his career at Temple.

Tony Carr, Roman Catholic, junior. Carr consistently impressed last season in the Cahillites' run to the Catholic League final. The dynamic 6-3 point guard averaged eight points, five assists, and two steals. He has scholarship offers from George Washington, La Salle, Maryland, Penn State, Rhode Island, and Temple.

Chris Clover, St. Joseph's Prep, senior. As he showed last year, Clover, a 6-4 swingman, excels at breaking down defenders off the dribble. The St. Joseph's recruit averaged 21.9 points as the Hawks went 16-7 and reached the Catholic League quarterfinals. He was a first-team all-league selection.

Ahmad Gilbert, Constitution, senior. The 6-7 forward, dangerous in the open court and around the basket, was the catalyst in the Generals' drive to a 28-5 record, the Class AA state championship, and a No. 2 final area ranking. Gilbert, a lefthander and George Mason recruit, averaged 15.7 points per game.

Derrick Jones, Archbishop Carroll, senior. The high-leaping, 6-7 small forward averaged 15.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks while helping lead the Patriots to a 23-5 record, the Catholic League semifinals, and the Class AAA state quarterfinals. A four-star recruit according to ESPN, he is bound for UNLV.
